As Chief Executive Officer, Peter is responsible for developing, leading and implementing corporate strategy and culture. He is also accountable for the overall services and operational management of UniSuper Management nationally.

John Pearce
Chief Investment Officer

John joined UniSuper in 2009 and is responsible for the management of our investment functions. John has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry both in Australia and Asia.

UniSuper was founded in October 2000, as a result of a merger between the Superannuation Scheme for Australian Universities (SSAU) and the Tertiary Education Superannuation Scheme (TESS). Prior to the merger, UniSuper had been the trustee for the SSAU.
