UniSuper’s Reconciliation Action Plan aims to create and support long-lasting relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples based on trust, empathy, respect and good governance.
This involves working towards the delivery of improved employment and retirement outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while ensuring that their voices and perspectives help inform the design and development of our services and communications.
The proposed constitutional change, including the Voice, seeks to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are both recognised and consulted on government and parliamentary decisions, policies and laws that impact them.
UniSuper supports the proposed constitutional change, noting it aligns well with the spirit of our RAP and provides a historic opportunity to accept the generous invitation from First Nations peoples in The Uluru Statement From The Heart to walk together for a better future by supporting the Voice.
