  • Things you need to know

A change or event that increases a fee or charge must be issued at least 30 days before it occurs.

A change or event that does not relate to an increase to a fee or charge can be issued as soon as possible, but not later than three months after the change or event occurs. However, in some cases the SEN may be issued more than 3 months after the change or event occurs if we reasonably believe that the event has no adverse impact to our members’ interests and accordingly, our members would not be expected to be concerned about the delay in receiving the information. In this case, the information must be issued within the period of 12 months after the change or event occurs.
